meet your Doula

Hiiii, I’m Erica
– and I’m so glad you’re here.

If you’ve landed on this page, I already know a few things about you: you want to feel calm, supported, and confident as you prepare for one of the biggest transitions of your life. And you deserve that.

I’m here to be the person in your corner—the one who listens without judgment, answers your late-night “is this normal?!” texts, and helps you and your partner step into birth feeling ready instead of overwhelmed.

My Journey Into
Birth Work

I didn’t always know I’d become a doula, but looking back, it makes perfect sense.

I was the first in my friend group to become a mom, and with my natural tendency to mentor and encourage people, became the go-to for other women entering their mom era!

I had been there, done that, and had the ability to hold space for both the best parts and the hardest parts of motherhood from pregnancy through the 4th trimester. There is a 13 year age gap between my children, and during that time I learned SO much about how I wanted things to be different for my next experience.

My second pregnancy, birth, and postpartum were significantly better than the first thanks to the support I secured for myself. And after personally realizing the difference personalized care makes, I decided ALL MOMS deserve to feel like VIP’s instead of just like numbers in a system.

I got my first doula certification and my business has been a blessing both to other moms and to me ever since! Seriously, somebody pinch me! So grateful!

Why Families Trust Me

Not to brag, but I have a unique gift (thanks to my many different motherhood experiences) that allows me to fully support moms, no matter their pregnancy, birth, or postpartum preferences without judgement!

My real passion to see moms and dads step confidently into parenthood and lean into THEIR intuition is at the heart of the support I offer. I hold multiple certifications including birth doula, postpartum doula, birth education, placenta encapsulation, neonatal resuscitation, and infant CPR.

But more than book smarts, I have years of experience with parents as they walk through the season of growing a family, and have the gift of being a mom to two children myself. One who is now an adult and one who is quickly growing up!

YOUR BIRTH BFF

YOUR BIRTH BFF

here’s what you can expect:

  •  A calm, grounding presence (even when things feel unpredictable).

  • Guidance that empowers—not pressures—you to make choices that feel right.

  • Support that continues beyond birth, as you step into those tender postpartum days.

What It’s Like To Work With Me

Working with me is less about a checklist and more about connection. I want you to feel like you’re inviting a trusted friend into your birth space—someone who knows when to offer a steady hand, when to hold the space quietly, and when to crack a lighthearted joke to ease the tension.

have been there

“I worked with Erica for my birthing classes, VBAC delivery and my placenta encapsulation. Every part of my journey with her was a dream. I previously had a planned csection with my first birth and was a little scared to proceed with a VBAC. Erica provided me with the education to empower me and eventually make my decision. I went ahead and had a dream labor/birth scenario and a successful VBAC. I credit that to Erica’s education and help during my pregnancy and labor. Highly recommend if you are looking for a compassionate, helpful and educated doula, you look no further.”
